As with so many of the best ideas in life, this all started as a conversation over a drink.

On a cold winters day my brother and I were discussing his aspirations to leave the day job behind and fully embrace his passion for art. He is a technophobic mixed media artist, specialising in contemporary figurative oil paintings. I am the marginally more tech-savvy end of the partnership.

 

As the drinks and conversation flowed on that frosty evening, I convinced him to delve into the exciting world of NFTs. I offered to take care of the digital side of things if he could provide the artwork. And thus, Chancer Studios was born. Our vision is to combine the traditions of the physical media art process with the web3 technology of the future.
